More than 30 years Loacker has been tending its vineyards strictly according to bio-dynamic and homeopathic principles. This means that in all Loacker vineyards there would be no recourse to synthetic, chemical methods as remedies to resolve problems. On the contrary, vines are tended entirely on bio-dynamic lines and only homeopathic preparations are employed as preventative measures, in combating diseases and pests, like arnica or wolfs bane (Aconitum napellus)
Loacker produces wines typical of the area such as Gewürztraminer, St. Magdalener and Lagrein and on the other hand wines from “international” grapes like Cabernet, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.
Loacker possesses other two wine estates located in Tuscany (Montalcino and in the coastal area of the Maremma). For this the range of wines and grape varieties are consequently diverse and offer plenty of choice to discerning wine-lovers.
