St. Pauls Winery
The picturesque medieval wine village of St. Pauls is the heart of one of South Tyrol’s most beautiful wine-growing areas. Its impressive church, known as the “cathedral in the country”, dominates St. Pauls and can be seen for miles, while the narrow streets and wine cellars are well worth seeing and visiting.
The grapes ripen in optimum climatic conditions on the slopes and hills. From the time the vines blossom, right through to pressing, the greatest care is needed to make sure that our “Liquid gold” can be produced from the ripe grapes. Our wine cellar was built on four floors over a century ago. This building style, very innovative for its time, is still advantageous for us. The entire winemaking process relies on gravity, with a difference in height of 22 metres from the top floor to the ground floor.
Slowly, under the care of our winemaker Wolfgang Tratter, the young wine will fully develop its body and elegance to reflect our motto: Passion for Quality.
