Terroir Meets Passion

  • 9:00 A.M. – 13:00 P.M.: Vineyard Tour
    Visit to estate wineries in the core areas of Alto Adige’s leading grape varieties Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewürztraminer, Schiava (Vernatsch), Pinot Noir, and Lagrein. The focus is on the contrasting facets of the individual leading varieties and zones. Followed by tastings of specialties of the various wineries, some of which are older vintages.   


Tour 1: Pinot Blanc
Tour 2: Sauvignon Blanc
Tour 3: Gewürztraminer
Tour 4: Schiava
Tour 5: Pinot Noir
Tour 6: Lagrein

Important: Reservations necessary for the vineyard tour at the respective agency

Meeting place: 8:30 A.M. Cantina Bolzano (departure at the hotel at 8 A.M.)
Location: Various estate wineries in Alto Adige 

  • 1:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M.: Lunch in the vineyard


After lunch return to Cantina Bolzano and direct onward journey to Val Gardena (without previous return to the hotel).

Mountain Meets Valley

  • 4:30 P.M.  – 10:00 P.M.: Dinner in the Dolomites
    Tasting of wines from different elevations at the Sofie Refuge at an elevation of 2,400 m (7,900 ft.) above sea level with a unique panorama of the Dolomites. Followed by dinner at the Sofie and Daniel Refuge. 

Participants: Invited guests from the industry and Alto Adige wine producers 
Location: Daniel and Sofie Refuge, Val Gardena/Gröden Important From Ortisei/St. Ulrich take the “Seceda” cableway to the mountain station.
