Here are our culinary tips for the festive season:
- Alto Adige speck with mustard cream and celery salad: crisp lettuce, grainy bread, and spicy mustard cream. You can best serve that with an Alto Adige Valle Isarco Veltliner, and its spiciness and freshness will set the perfect stage for this antipasto.
- Tortellini filled with Alto Adige cheese over wilted radicchio with Alto Adige speck: Alto Adige Santa Maddalena is recommended to accompany the homemade tortellini with the creamy cheese filling. This wine from the Schiava grape tastes fresh and full-bodied, and it especially unfolds its full potential in combination with dairy products and Alto Adige speck.
- Lamb cutlets over Alto Adige potato leek gratin: let's continue with a meat dish with Alto Adige potatoes. In order for the taste of the tender lamb to fully develop, it would be best for you and your guests to enjoy a glass of Alto Adige Pinot Noir Riserva with it. Its intense aroma of red and dark berries as well as cloves and violets pair perfectly with cheese as well as both red and white meats.
- Mousse of blackberry skyr with fresh berries: a red muscat harmonizes best with this light dessert with refreshing berries and fluffy skyr. This multifaceted sweet wine scores with its intense scent of rose petals, linden blossoms, and nutmeg as well as its pleasant fruit sweetness. For that reason, it goes perfectly with desserts.
