The Masterpiece of the Alto Adige Sparkling Wine Scene
Alto Adige’s Ambassador Sparkling Wine Fascinates with an Exciting Aroma and Special Tones
Reading time: 1 '
The base: one hundred liters of base wine for sparkling wine. The process: production using the classic méthode champenoise with aging for ninety-four months. The results: 189 double magnum bottles of exquisite sparkling wine with the Alto Adige signature. Completely in keeping with the motto “E pluribus unum – out of many, one”, the seven members of the Association of Alto Adige Sparkling Wine Producers have once again joined together their base wines for sparkling wine into a single cuvée and carried out the secondary fermentation on it in 4.5 liter Jeroboam bottles as the Alto Adige Ambassador.
With the production of the Ambassador sparkling wine, the seven different characters of the Alto Adige sparkling wine producers and their wines have been united, bringing about a matured sparkling wine with an exciting aroma and special flavor tones. In its third edition, the sparkling wine was presented with the perfect staging on May 6 in the Rock Cellar at the Laimburg Research Center, accompanied by five delicious dishes prepared by five Alto Adige star chefs. The Ambassador sparkling wine also shone visually because of its very own label created by artist Jochen Gasser: a clef that is supposed to portray a sort of drinkable melody, and thus a “symphony for the palate”.
Alto Adige sparkling wine is among THE top-quality products of the Alto Adige wine industry. Within that context, quality is always first and foremost. With the Ambassador sparkling wine, the desire is to provide a new stage for the “pearls of the Alps”.
Noble, sparkling, exciting: the Ambassador sparkling wine is a rarity with great character.
