At the Alto Adige Wine Summit, the most important wine event in Alto Adige (to be held in Bolzano from September 9 to 12, 2021), experts from all over the world in the area of wine as well as outstanding representatives of the trade press will have the opportunity to get to know the world of Alto Adige winemaking up close and personal.
The theme of the third edition that will be held this year will be Contrasts, and thus the great multitude of grape varieties, terroirs, and soils that are characteristic of the uniqueness of Alto Adige and its winegrowing. With the motto “A World of Contrasts”, the 2021 Wine Summit will offer an unprecedented offering of events in both digital and live formats: in person and in small groups, guests of the Alto Adige Wine Summit will get to know the winegrower personalities, the top chefs, and the innovative winemakers. The 2021 Alto Adige Wine Summit will carry its guests away on a journey through the wines of both large and small Alto Adige producers. Varietal tastings offer the opportunity to discover all facets of the different grape varieties and Alto Adige’s wine culture, while vertical tastings will be devoted to the special features of individual vintages. The Alto Adige Wine Summit also offers culinary adventures in historical castles and family-run gourmet restaurants, as well as unique tours in steep mountain vineyards and at high-elevation Alpine refuges right in the middle of the Dolomites.
