Merlot Alto Adige

Merlot

The Fruity Bordeaux from Alto Adige

Merlot was first planted in Alto Adige along with other Bordeaux varieties around 130 years ago. Since that time, it has made itself quite at home. This early-maturing variety unfolds its intense aromas of blackberries, black currants, plum compote, and spices in fruity, full-bodied wines. Friends of Merlot are enthusiastic about this full-bodied red with its mature tannins and its southern charm. A soft and sensuous wine delight!
