Red Muscat Alto Adige

Red Muscat

The Bearer of the Rose with Southern Charm

Red Muscat came to Alto Adige from Sicily 125 years ago. This full-bodied, aromatic, and complex dessert wine is a specialty that is very much in demand. Its intense scent of rose petals, linden flowers, and nutmeg as well as its pleasant fruity sweetness make it a noble companion of Alto Adige desserts. Demanding in its cultivation, this variety provides only low yields. The naturally-sweet grapes are fermented like a red wine.
